Coach Cleo Bennett

Cleo Bennett is beginning his third year coaching the Wildcats sophomore team. Coach Bennett continues to build on his success with two Orange League titles to his credit. He looks forward to another successful season with his eyes on another league title. Bennett brings with him a wealth of coaching and real-life experience that help him make a direct connection with his players. In addition to coaching basketball at the high school level, he brings with him many years of coaching youth basketball and junior All-American Football teams in the city of Corona.

Bennett attended Santa Ana High School where he played football, basketball, and track and field. He was an all league palyer and MVP as well as Falcon of the year during his senior year. Bennett went on to Fullerton College where he was a stand out running back. After receiving an Associat Degree from Fullerton, he transferred to Boise State University with a football scholarship. He is currently the finess director for Odetics, Inc., in Anaheim.

Coach Bennett's coaching philosophy is to motivate and teach his player the skills and charactor needed to win both on and off the court. He strives to instill in his players a sense of hard work, dedication and the principles that will help them to become responsible and successful young men.

Coach Bennett is married to Tonya and they have three well-rounded young sons Terrell, Torrian, and Tyler. He enjoys playing basketball and weight training in his spare time.
